Sheldon Alvarez

I draw most of the time to keep my depression under control.  Sometimes I borrow paint or use sugar free drink mixers for color along with floor wax to bring out the sheen.  Cardboard boxes can become my canvas. Drawings fill my mind every day bringing new ideas.  In prison I have been given the opportunity to teach others how to draw.  I never thought of teaching art but doing it has been so rewarding.  I wish to continue creating art, teaching art and giving back when I am released.
