When I was eleven years old I turned to art to escape reality and the pain of a very dysfunctional home.  I would spend my time drawing and creating a fantasy world to go to.  It was a place of peace and tranquility.  Just like The Lighthouse and the Old Mill, neither of them exist. They only exist in my head and heart. While painting these places I could escape and meditate on God’s Word, having peace.  

 

Artists Serving Humanity has given me a way to make living amends and also to pay my restitution. To those whom I have caused great bodily harm to, I would like to say that I am terribly sorry for all the pain I have inflicted upon you.  I take full responsibility for my actions.
